Chap. 0272 An Act concerning the sale or use of toy pistols and other dangerous articles. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. The city council of any city, and the selectmen of any town, may adopt such rules and regulations as they may deem reasonable in relation to the sale or use, within the limits thereof, of toy pistols, toy cannon, and all other articles in which explosive compounds of any kind are used, or of which such compounds form a part, and may affix penalties for violation of such rules and regulations not exceeding fifty dollars for any one offence ; but no such rule or regulation shall take effect until it has been approved by the superior court, or in vacation by a justice thereof, and with such approval entered and recorded, as provided in section twenty-one of chapter twenty-seven of the Public Statutes. Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. Approved May 26, 1SS2.
