1979 Chap. 0797. An Act Making Changes In The Law Providing For The Taxation Of Real Property By Usage Classification. Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose which is to provide immediately for the taxation of real property by usage classification and to provide for an equitable application of the real property tax burden among commercial, industrial and residential property owners, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.______________
