1975 Chap. 0004. An Act providing for the temporary suspension of the law requiring minimum mandatory Jail Sentence Of One Year, Without Suspension, Probation Or Parole, For The. Unlicensed Carrying Or Use Of Firearms, Rifles, Or Shotguns, Loaded Or Unloaded, And Strengthening The Law Related Thereto. Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to de Acts, 1975. Chaps. 5,6. feat its purpose, which is, in part, to allow additional time to inform the public of increased and severe penalties for the illegal carrying of firearms, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
