1982 Chap. 0010. An Act Relative To The Dates For Annu Al Town Meeting And Submission Of Budgets In Cities In The Year Nineteen Hundred And Eighty-two. Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to immediately authorize the postponement of annual town meetings and presentation by mayors of city budgets to city councils for the current year, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience._________________
