1983 Chap. 0718. An Act Authorizing The Department Of Social Services To Pay Certain Bills For Social Services. Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would defeat its purpose, which is to authorize the department of social services to pay immediately certain bills for social services, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.________________
