Chap. 0068 An Act to authorize the mill owners' mutual fire insurance company to extend its business and for other purposes.

Be it enacted, &c, as follows:

Section 1. The Mill Owners' Mutual Fire Insurance Company is authorized in addition to the powers granted to them by virtue of their charter, to issue policies against losses by fire upon any property named in said charter,
situated in the New England states, and in the states of New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey : subject, however, to the duties, liabilities and restrictions which by law appertain thereto.
Section 2. All policies issued and contracts for insurance made by said company in any of the states mentioned in section one are legalized and made valid.
Section 3.   This act shall take effect upon its passage.
