Chap. 0103 An Act to amend the charter of the city of newburyport.

Be it enacted, &c, as follows:

Section 1. The mayor of the city of Newburyport shall be, ex officio, a member of the school committee of said city and chairman of the board.
Section 2. This act shall take effect, if accepted by the legal voters of said city voting in their respective wards at the next annual meeting for the choice of municipal officers. Approved April 7, 1875.
