Chap. 0060 An Act to authorize the use of the Vibrating Steelyard.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, in General Court assembled and by the authority of the same, That from and after the passing this act, the Vibrating Steelyard, invented or improved by Samuel Hills, be permitted to be used in all cases of weighing throughout this Common, wealth : Provided, that before being offered for sale or the same shall be used, eaeh beam and the poizers thereof, shall be sealed by some public Sealer of Weights and Measures, appointed according to law.
