Chap. 0128 An Act for altering the times for holding the Supreme Judicial Court within the several counties of Middlesex and Worcester. Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, That the term of the Supreme Judicial Court, now by law appointed to be holden at Concord, within and for the county of Middlesex, on the first Tuesday of April, shall hereafter be holden at Concord as aforesaid, on the fourth Monday in March ; and the term of said Court,, now by law appointed to be holden at Worcester, within and for the county of Worcester, on the second Tuesday of April, shall hereafter be holden at Worcester as aforesaid, on the second Tuesday next after the fourth Monday of March, annually; and'the said Court, to be holden last as aforesaid, may in all judicial proceedings, from time to time, be designated and expressed by such Tuesday of the month as will be the Tuesday on which said Court is to be holden pursuant to this act. Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That all writs, appeals, petitions, and processes, of what kind soever the same may be, which were returnable to, or are now pending in the Supreme Judicial Court, at the times heretofore appointed by law for holding the same within said counties of Middlesex and Worcester ; and all parties and persons that may be required or directed to appear and attend at the aforesaid times and places, before the passing of this act, shall be returned to, entered, appear, attend, and have day, be tried and de- x termined in said Court, at the respective times aud places established by this act, pursuant to the true intent and meaning thereof.
