Chap. 0432 An Act authorizing the city of brockton to retire and pay a pension to frederick l. donovan. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. For the purpose of promoting the public good, the city of Brockton is hereby authorized to retire and pay a pension to Frederick L. Donovan, a city laborer, who is now totally and permanently disabled by reason of undulant fever contracted while employed as a laborer in the service of said city. The amount of such pension per annum shall equal one half of his annual rate of regular compensation at the time of his termination of service and shall be paid in equal monthly instalments. Section 2. This act shall take full effect upon its acceptance by vote of the city council of said city, subject to the provisions of its charter, but not otherwise. Approved June 12, 1952.
