Chap. 846. An Act relative to rights acquired by presidents of state colleges. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: The last paragraph of section 16 of chapter 73 of the General Laws, as appearing in section 15 of chapter 642 of the acts of 1963, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence: — Nothing in this section shall be so construed as to deny the president of a state college of any retirement, seniority or tenure rights acquired by him as a result of his prior employment in the University of Massachusetts or any of the state colleges, or in The Teachers College of the City of Boston prior to its acquisition by the commonwealth.
