Chap. 53.     An Act authorizing the county commissioners of
BRISTOL, HAMPDEN AND NORFOLK COUNTIES TO MAKE CERTAIN EXPENDITURES FOR THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN COURT OFFICERS FOR THE YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY-EIGHT.
Be it enacted, etc., as follows:
Section 1. Notwithstanding any contrary provisions of chapter thirty-five of the General Laws, the county commissioners of Bristol, Hampden and Norfolk counties shall expend from any available funds such sums as may be necessary to pay the salaries commencing January first, nineteen hundred and sixty-eight of the court officers in their respective county appointed under authority of chapter eight hundred and thirty-four of the acts of nineteen hundred and sixty-seven.
Section 2.   This act shall take effect upon its passage.
