Chap. 54.     An Act authorizing certain towns in barnstable
AND   PLYMOUTH   COUNTIES   TO   CONTRIBUTE   TO   THE   OTIS MEMORIAL.
Be it enacted, etc., as follows:
Section 1. Any of the towns in Barnstable and Plymouth counties are hereby authorized to appropriate money for the purpose of contributing the same for the establishment and maintenance of the Otis Memorial at the Otis Air Force Base in memory of the crews of the three picket planes who were lost in the line of duty, many of the members of which were residents of said towns.
Section 2. Any action taken pursuant to the authority contained in this act by any of the towns in Barnstable and Plymouth counties

at their annual town meetings held in the current year shall be as valid and effective for all purposes as though this act had been in effect at the time of the posting of the warrant for said meetings. Section 3.   This act shall take effect upon its passage.
