Chap. 582. An Act authorizing the town of ipswich to sell and CONVEY CERTAIN PARK LAND IN SAID TOWN TO THE FIRST AND SOUTH CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF IPSWICH. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. The town of Ipswich is hereby authorized to sell and convey to the First and South Congregational Church of Ipswich a certain parcel of land held in said town for park purposes known as Meeting House Green, enclosed within North Main Street, Meeting House Green and a connector road, and more specifically described as follows: —• Beginning at a point thirty two feet South forty one degrees, twenty three minutes and thirty seconds East (S 41° 23' 30" E) of the proposed side line of North Main Street, said side line point being two hundred seventy four and forty hundredths (274.40) feet Southwesterly of the proposed point of curvature of North Main Street and Meeting House Green, thence turning and running North forty eight degrees, thirty six minutes and thirty seconds East (N 48° 36' 30" E), a distance of one hundred ninety (190) feet to a point; thence turning and running South forty one degrees, twenty three minutes and thirty seconds East (S 41° 23' 30" E), a distance of one hundred ten (110) feet to a point; thence turning and running South forty eight degrees, thirty six minutes and thirty seconds West (S 48° 36' 30" W), a distance of one hundred ninety (190) feet to a point; thence turning and running North forty one degrees, twenty three minutes and thirty seconds West (N 41° 23' 470 Acts, 1968. — Chaps. 583, 584, 585. 30" W), a distance of one hundred ten (110) feet to the point of beginning. Said lot containing twenty thousand nine hundred (20,900) square feet and being shown on "Plan of Land in Ipswich, Scale 1" = 30'), Revised Feb. 27,1968, and prepared by Essex Survey Service, 275 Cabot Street, Beverly, Mass. The above described parcel comprises approximately twenty five per cent (25%) of said Meeting House Green. Together with reasonable rights of way over the adjoining premises to be used for such purposes as ways may now or in the future be used in the Town of Ipswich. Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its acceptance by the town of Ipswich in the manner provided in section four of chapter four of the General Laws, except that the vote thereon shall be taken by secret ballot.
