Chap. 437. An Act authorizing the city of fitchburg to use certain park land in said city for a civic center and planetarium.
Be it enacted-, etc., as follows:
Section 1. The city of Fitchburg is hereby authorized to use for a civic center and planetarium a certain parcel of land in said city now held for park purposes, bounded and described as follows: —
Beginning at the intersection of John Fitch Highway and Pearl Hill Road; thence N 0° 10' 58" W by the sideline of Pearl Hill Road ninety-three and ninety-seven hundredths (93.97) feet; thence N 12° 25' 32" E by the sideline of Pearl Hill Road one hundred forty-eight and twenty-six hundredths (148.26) feet; thence S 67° 04' 00'' E two hundred five and sixty-five hundredths (205.65) feet; thence S 26° 51' 00" W about twenty (20) feet; thence southeasterly by the centerline of Falulah Brook about eight hundred ninety-five (895) feet; thence S 13° 43' 33" W about three hundred fifteen (315) feet; thence S 13° 48' 50'' W five hundred sixty-one and seventy-one hundredths (561.71) feet; thence S 14° 29' 30" W two hundred forty-seven and fifty hundredths (247.50) feet; thence S 10° 19' 00" W one hundred thirty-six and eleven hundredths (136.11)ffeet; thence S 14° 01' 00" W one hundred twenty-two and fifty-seven hundredths (122.57) feet; thence northerly by the curve to the right the radius of which is 1,170.00 by the easterly sideline of John Fitch Highway one hundred ninety-five and eighty-three hun-

dredths (195.83) feet; thence N 07° 46' 20" W by the easterly sideline of John Fitch Highway one thousand one hundred seventy-one and thirty-one hundredths (1171.31) feet; thence northwesterly by a curve to the left the radius of which is 830.00 feet by the easterly sideline of John Fitch Highway 599.86 feet to the place of beginning. Containing about 14.2 acres of land. Section 2.   This act shall take effect upon its passage.
