An Act authorizing the adams-cheshire regional SCHOOL DISTRICT TO CONVEY CERTAIN SCHOOL LAND IN THE TOWN OF ADAMS AND TO GRANT CERTAIN EASEMENTS ON LAND IN THE TOWNS OF ADAMS AND CHESHIRE TO THE ADAMS FIRE DISTRICT. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the Adams-Cheshire Regional School District, acting by and through the chairman of its regional district school committee, is hereby authorized to grant the easements hereinafter described in parcels 1 to 4, inclusive, and to convey the land hereinafter described in parcel 2 to the Adams Fire District for the purpose of enabling said fire district to maintain the water line leading to the high school and to construct a fire reservoir: PARCEL 1: A permanent easement lying wholly within the town of Cheshire running easterly, northeasterly and northerly from the vicinity of the Hoosac Valley High School building to Parcel 2 hereinafter described, for purposes of travel and the installation and maintenance of underground piping. This parcel is shown on a plan entitled "Plan of Land & Easement in Adams & Cheshire, Mass., to be conveyed by The Adams-Cheshire Regional School District to Adams Fire District", dated May 1969 and prepared by Henry C. Neff Associates, Civil Engineers & Land Surveyors, and is more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the center line of a school road or drive passing the Hoosac Valley High School and northerly thereof, said center line being parallel to the northerly end of the school building and lying 72 feet northerly thereof; said point of beginning being located 208.0 feet easterly of a point in said center line lying opposite the most northeasterly corner of said building; thence north 15° 31' 25"' east 15.0 feet to a point; thence south 74° 28' 35" east 448.96 feet to a point; thence north 60° 31' 25" east 92.20 feet to a point; thence north 15° 31' 25" east 156.67 feet to a point; thence north 74° 28' 35" west 50.00 feet to a point; thence north 15° 31' 25" east 15.00 feet to a point in the Adams-Cheshire town line, located about 1400 feet easterly of a county highway bound on the east side of Route 116, said point being also the southwesterly corner of Parcel 2 hereinafter described; thence south 74° 28' 35" east in said town line 110.00 feet to a point, said point being also the southeasterly corner of Parcel 2, located 76.3 feet westerly from a concrete monument set in the ground in said town line; thence south 15° 31' 25" west 45.00 feet to a point; thence north 74° 28' 35" west 30.00 feet to a point; thence south 15° 31' 25" west 139.11 feet to a point; thence south 60° 31' 25" west 117.08 feet to a point; thence north 74° 28' 35" west 461.40 feet to a point; thence north 15° 31' 25" east 15.0 feet to the place of beginning. Meaning and intending to describe a strip of land generally 30 feet in width, except as widened adjacent to Parcel 2 to provide turn-around space for vehicles. Granting also the right of access over and along roads or drives of the Adams-Cheshire Regional School District leading from Route 116 to the point of beginning of said Parcel 1. PARCEL 2: A plot of land lying wholly within the town of Adams upon which a water reservoir is to be constructed, shown upon the plan Acts, 1969.—
