Chap. 870. An Act relating to the time within which a zoning BOARD OF APPEALS SHALL RENDER ITS DECISION. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. Section 18 of chapter 40A of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the fifth sentence, as amended by chapter 387 of the acts of 1962, and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:—, The decision of the board shall be made within sixty days after the date of the filing of an appeal, application or petition. ' Section 2. Section 20 of said chapter 40A, as appearing in section 2 of chapter 368 of the acts of 1954, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "board", in line 13, the words:— ; provided, however, that an annulment of a favorable decision of said board by the court pursuant to the authorization contained in section twenty-one shall not constitute unfavorable action within the meaning of this section.
