Chap. 396. An Act providing tenure of office until age sixty-five FOR ROBERT E. LEVEILLE, INCUMBENT OF THE OFFICE OF CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHAMPTON. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Robert E. Leveille, incumbent of the office of chief of police of the town of Southampton, shall hold said office until he reaches age sixty-five. Said incumbent shall not be removed from office, lowered in rank or suspended, except for just cause and for reasons specifically given him in writing by the board of selectmen in the manner provided by section forty-three of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.
