Chap. 628. An Act providing permanent appointment of george CORMEY, INCUMBENT OF THE POSITION OF OFFICE ENGINEER IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE TOWN OF RANDOLPH. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: George Cormey, incumbent of the position of office engineer in the engineering department of the town of Randolph, shall be required by the division of civil service to take a qualifying examination, and if he passes said examination, he shall be deemed to be permanently appointed to said position, and he shall not be removed therefrom or lowered in compensation except after a hearing in the manner provided in section forty-three of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.
