Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. Approved June 23, 1972. Chap. 482. An Act providing for the temporary reemployment OF FRANCIS J. WALLACE IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF BOSTON. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, Francis J. Wallace of the city of Boston shall, if upon his written application within three months after the passage of this act the fire commissioner of said city in writing approves, be reemployed in his former position of electric equipment repairman in the fire alarm division of the fire department of said city for a period of two years from the commencement of such reemployment without deductions for retirement purposes; provided he files with the collector-treasurer of said city a written statement wherein he waives, and renounces for himself, his heirs and his legal representatives, his right to receive his retirement allowance for the period of his reemployment. Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. Approved June 28,1972.
