Chap. 612.   An Act authorizing the director of civil service to
PROMOTE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF THE DISADVANTAGED AND PERSONS FORMERLY CONVICTED OF A CRIME IN ESTABLISHING STANDARDS FOR OFFICES AND POSITIONS.
Be it enacted, etc., as follows:
Section 1. Paragraph (/) of section 2A of chapter 31 of the General Laws is hereby further amended by inserting after the word "handicapped", added by chapter 4 of the acts of 1970, the words: — , disadvantaged persons and persons formerly convicted of a crime.
Section 2. Paragraph (n) of said section 2A of said chapter 31, as most recently amended by chapter 289 of the acts of 1971, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word "handicapped", in line 2, the words: — , persons determined by the director to be disadvantaged.
