Chap. 323.          AN    ACT    RELATIVE    TO    MEMBERSHIP    OF    THE
IPSWICH   RIVER   WATERSHED ASSOCIATION,   INC.
ON   THE    DISTRICT   ADVISORY    BOARD   OF   THE IPSWICH  RIVER WATERSHED DISTRICT.
Be  it  enacted,   etc.,   as  follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of chapter 682 of the acts of 1966 is hereby amended by inserting after the word "designee", in line 6, the words:- the president of the Ipswich River Watershed Association, Inc. or his designee provided that such member be assessed according to the provisions of this act.
SECTION 2. Section 3 of said chapter 682 is hereby amended by striking out the third paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-
The commission shall, in cooperation with the department of public health, the department of agriculture and the water resources commission, investigate available water resources for the district and methods of preserving and increasing such resources while conserving water supply in the member cities and towns and protecting the recreational uses and scenic and natural value of the Ipswich  river.
