Chap. 172. An   Act   authorizing   the   department   of
PUBLIC WORKS TO ACQUIRE CERTAIN PUBLIC LANDS FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES IN THE CITY OF TAUNTON.
Be it enacted, etc., as follows:
In accordance with the provisions of chapter six hundred and ninety-three of the acts of nineteen hundred and fifty-five, the department of public works, acting for and on behalf of the commonwealth, is hereby authorized to acquire by eminent domain, purchase or otherwise, all or such portions thereof as said department may determine of a certain parcel of city owned industrial development land located in the city of Taunton for the construction of interstate highway route 495. Said land is shown on a map entitled "Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Works Route 1—495 Environmental Statement Foxborough-Bridgewater", which is available for review through the administrative office of the department of public works, and contains approximately 10.1 acres.
