Chap. 511.          AN ACT PROVIDING   PERMANENT  CIVIL  SERVICE

STATUS TO CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS IN THE TOWN OF TEWKSBURY.

Be it enacted,   etc.,   as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any provision of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, George DeRoche, Richard Westaway, William Chandler, Jr., Keith Ryan, and Evelyn Doherty, employees of the department of public works in the town of Tewskbury, shall be granted permanent civil service status in their current positions in said department.

SECTION 2.     This act shall take effect upon its passage.
