Chap. 461. AN ACT REQUIRING THE TOWN CLERK OF THE TOWN OF HOLLISTON TO PAY OVER TO THE TOWN TREASURER CERTAIN FEES. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: SECTION 1. The town clerk of the town of Holliston shall, commencing July first, nineteen hundred and eighty-one and on the first Monday of each month thereafter, pay over to the town treasurer, that part of the dog license funds formerly retained by such clerk under the provisions of section one hundred and forty-seven of chapter one hundred and forty of the General Laws, and that part of the fish and game license funds formerly retained by such clerk under the provisions of section seventeen of chapter one hundred and thirty-one of the General Laws; provided, that the town clerk's salary, to be effective July first, nineteen hundred and eighty-one, shall, in addition to any general increases voted from time to time for elected officials, include an amount substantially equal to the fees retained under the above two sections of the General Laws during the fiscal year July first, nineteen hundred and seventy-nine through June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and eighty. SECTION 2. The town clerk of the town of Holliston shall continue to pay over to the town treasurer on the first Monday of each month, fees collected under section thirty-four and thirty-four A of chapter two hundred and sixty-two of the General Laws. SECTION 3. Money paid over to the town treasurer under sections one and two of this act shall become part of the estimated receipts of the town of Holliston. SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its acceptance by the town of Holliston. Approved July 10, 1980.
