Chap. 0554 An Act providing that the director of the division of the blind may require certain applicants for assistance to submit to an examination by an accredited ophthalmologist.

Be it enacted, etc., as follows:

Chapter sixty-nine of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section nineteen A, inserted therein by section two of chapter eighty-nine of the acts of nineteen hundred and forty-three, the following section: - Section 19B. The director may require an applicant for assistance under any provision of this chapter to submit to an examination by an accredited ophthalmologist, chosen by the applicant and to be paid by the division.
