Chap. 0003 An Act making changes in the highway and reserve fund appropriations for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and forty-two for certain counties.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which in part is to make immediate provision for meeting certain county civilian defense and other war problems, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public safety and convenience.

Be it enacted, etc., as follows:

Section 1. Section one of chapter five hundred and twenty-eight of the acts of nineteen hundred and forty-one is hereby amended by striking out, under the headings for the several counties hereinafter referred to, in item 16 in each case, the sum appropriated for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and forty-two, and inserting in place thereof the following sums, respectively:

Section 2.
