Chap. 0180 An Act relative to the jurisdiction of district, police and municipal courts. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section thirty-nine of chapter three hundred and ninety-six of the acts of the year eighteen hundred and ninety-three is hereby amended by inserting after the word "destroyed", in the fifth line, the words:-or the amount of the injury done,-so as to read as follows: - Section 39. They shall have jurisdiction, as aforesaid, of the offence of indecent exposure of the person ; of violation of the provisions of section one hundred and three of chapter two hundred and three of the Public Statutes, when the value of the property destroyed or the amount of the injury done is not alleged to exceed one hundred dollars; of all nuisances at common law; and of the offence at common law of keeping and maintaining a common, ill governed and disorderly house ; and in such cases may punish by fine not exceeding one hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the jail or house of correction not exceeding one year.
