Chap. 0001 An Act making appropriations for the maintenance of the government for the present year. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : Section 1. The sums hereinafter mentioned are appropriated to be paid out of the treasury, from the ordinary revenue, for the purposes specified, to meet the expenses for the year ending on the thirty-first day of December, in the year eighteen hundred and seventy-seven, to wit:- supreme judicial court.
