Chapter 173. AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE TERMINATION OF JOINT FIRE AND POLICE DISPATCHING SERVICE AGREEMENTS IN THE COUNTY OF FRANKLIN.
Be it enacted, etc., as follows:
Notwithstanding the provisions of section four A of chapter forty of the General Laws, an agreement entered into by any town or district, located in the county of Franklin for joint fire and police dispatching service, may be terminated by any party thereto only after notice of such termination is given to each other party to the agreement at least one year prior to the date of termination approved by district or town meeting.
