"I was pleased to learn that the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center recently took the important step of holding businesses accountable for not meeting agreed-upon hiring levels which were tied to tax incentives. These tax incentives are public assets with great value to those businesses to which they are awarded. Therefore, the recent action to terminate awards for those that were not compliant is to be applauded."--Paragraph 2.
