An Act For Apportioning And Assessing A Tax Of Twenty Thousand Six Hundred And Twenty-Five Pounds; And Also For Assessing A Tax Of Seven Thousand And Seven Hundred And Twenty Pounds Fifteen Shillings, Paid The Representatives For Their Travel And Attendance In The General Court, In The Years One Thousand Seven Hundred And Seventy, One Thousand Seven Hundred And Seventy-One, And One Thousand Seven Hundred And Seventy-Two; Also For Assessing A Tax Of Seven Hundred And Ninety-Eight Pounds, Laid On Towns Who Have Neglected Sending Some Person To Represent Them In The Great And General Court In Either Of The Years One Thousand Seven Hundred And Seventy-One, One Thousand Seven Hundred And Seventy-Two, And One Thousand Seven Hundred And Seventy-Three ; Also For Assessing The Town Of Hull Four Pounds Four Shillings, Being The Charge Of A Committee; Also The Town Of Sherburne, In The County Of Nantucket The Sum Of Two Hundred Pounds, Part Of The Sum Of Three Hundred Ninety-Eight Pounds Seven Shillings And Sevenpence, Which Said Town Is In Arrears Arising From The Deficiency Of Thomas Arthur, A Defective Collector Of Taxes For The Years One Thousand Seven Hundred And Sixty-Five And One Thousand Seven Hundred And Sixty-Six; Also The Town Of Framingham The Sum Of Fifty-Four Pounds Thirteen Shillings And Three Pence, Being The Remaining Part Of The Arrears Of The Proportion Of The Province Tax Set On That Town In The Year One Thousand Seven Hundred And Sixty-Five Hitherto Unpaid By Reason Of The Deficiency Of Joseph Butler A Collector Of Taxes In Said Town That Year; And The Town Of Taunton The Sum Of Five Pounds Fourteen Shillings, Being The Expence Of A Committee To Settle The Line Between Taunton And Middleborough; And Further To Assess The Town Of Swanzey The Sum Of Fifty Pounds, Being Part Of What Was Lent Said Town In Consideration Of Their Having Been Visited With The Smallpox; Amounting In The Whole To The Sum Of Twenty-Nine Thousand Four And Fifty-Eight Pounds Six Shillings And Threepence.
