Wilbraham 69 --Caption title. Width of road: 35 ft. Traveled way: width 24 ft., grade 1 ft. per 100. Surface: flat, sloping to left, uneven, soft, loose sand with ruts 6 1/2 in. deep material: sand sides: right, slopes up, left, slopes down into gutter gutters: right, none, left, 16 in. deep sidewalks: right, 2 ft. wide, 6 in. above right edge of travelled way, left, none. Remarks: Travelled way is very poor and varies in width. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
