Surface: crowned 14 in., hard and smooth with an occasional loose stone material: gravel, hard sides: right, slopes down into gutter then up, left, slopes down into gutter then up gutters: right, 2 ft. deep, left, 1 ft. 6 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A fine gravel road. Picture taken just after a rain and snow storm. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
