Florida 140 --Caption title. Width of road: 20 ft. Traveled way: width 18 ft., grade 15 ft. per 100. Surface: crowned 3 in., fairly hard, a little loose gravel and a few stones on top material: loamy gravel sides: right, slopes up from gutter, left, slopes up from gutter gutters: right, 10 in. deep, left, 11 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A very good road. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
