Surface: crowned 8 in., paved double car tracks in centre, macadam sides material: broken stone sides: right, curbstone 8 in. high, left, curbstone 8 in. high gutters: right, 8 in. deep, left, 8 in. deep sidewalks: right, 10 ft. wide, 8 in. above gutter, left, 9 ft wide, 8 in. above gutter. Remarks: Macadam sides are hard and smooth. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
