Westminster 193 --Caption title. Width of road: 15 ft. Traveled way: width 15 ft., grade 3 ft. per 100. Surface: crowned 3 in., uneven, loose gravel and stones 2 in. deep material: gravel and stones sides: right, slopes down to gutter, left, slopes down to gutter gutters: right, 18 in. deep, left, 2 ft. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: Would be a good road, if loose material was cleaned off of surface. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
