Surface: crowned 9 in., worn out, mud 1 in. deep material: gravel with a little loam sides: right, grass embankment slopes up to sidewalk, left, grass embankment slopes up to sidewalk gutters: right, 9 in. deep, left, 7 in. deep sidewalks: right, 9 ft. wide, 4 in. above gutter, left, 6 ft wide grass border 3 ft. 14 in. above gutter. Remarks: road needs re-surfacing. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
