Surface: crowned 1 ft., soft, loose sand with ruts 5 in. deep material: sand sides: right, slopes down to marsh, left, slopes up from gutter gutters: right, slopes down to marsh 2 ft., left, 6 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A poor road, for sand is deep on a bad grade. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
