Cheshire 126 --Caption title. Width of road: 45 ft. Traveled way: width 15 ft., grade 3 ft. per 100. Surface: flat, soft loose sand 3 in. deep material: sand on gravel base sides: right, flat, left, flat gutters: right, none, left, none sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: Road is fairly good and hard under loose top surface. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
