Surface: flat, uneven, slopes to right, mud soft 3 in. deep material: sand and clay, soft sides: right, slopes down to gutter then up, left, slopes up natural slope gutters: right, 2 ft. deep, left, none sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A very poor road. Right side is 7 in. lower than left. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
