Lunenburg 200 --Caption title. Width of road: 14 ft. Traveled way: width 14 ft., grade 2 ft. per 100. Surface: crowned 6 in., soft, loose sand and gravel 3 in. deep material: sand and gravel sides: right, slopes up from gutter, left, slopes up from gutter gutters: right, 6 in. deep, left, 6 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A very rough road and hard to haul through. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
