Surface: crowned 6 in., slightly uneven material: gravel, hard, worn out in places sides: right, grass bank slopes up to sidewalk, left, grass bank slopes up to sidewalk gutters: right, 6 in. deep, left, 6 in. deep, sidewalks: right, 8 ft. wide 7 in. above gutter, left, 9 ft wide 6 in. above gutter. Remarks: good road, hard and smooth. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
