Surface: flat, sloping to right, soft, loose sand and gravel 2 in. deep material: sand and gravel on gravel base sides: right, covered with bushes and trees, slopes up, left, slopes up from sidewalk gutters: right, 5 in. deep, left, none sidewalks: right, 3 ft. wide, 3 in. above gutter, left, none. Remarks: Surface water washes across travelled way. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
