Surface: crowned 4 in., hard where travel has been material: new gravel like sample 194 sides: right, slopes down natural slope, left, slopes down natural slope gutters: right, natural slope down, left, natural slope down sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: Travelled way has been re-surfaced. Gravel wears hard and smooth. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
