Surface: flat, soft deep sand, ruts 9 in. deep material: loamy sand sides: right, covered with bushes, slopes up, left, covered with bushes, slopes up gutters: right, none, left, none sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: between stations no's 96 and 97 is a hill, grade 25 ft. per 100, with loose sand 1 ft. deep. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
