Adams 130 --Caption title. Width of road: 60 ft. Traveled way: width 38 ft., grade 0 ft. per 100. Surface: flat, hard and smooth, with a very few loose stones material: gravel, hard sides: right, flat, 6 in. lower than surface of travelled way, left, slopes up to sidewalk gutters: right, 6 in. deep, left, 3 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, 6 ft wide, 16 in. above gutter. Remarks: Good road, but flat. Car tracks bar water from right gutter. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
