Surface: crowned 3 in., smooth material: gravel, very hard sides: right, slopes up to sidewalk, left, slopes up to sidewalk gutters: right, 4 in. deep, left, 6 in. deep sidewalks: right, 9 ft. wide 4 in. above gutter, left, 9 ft. wide 6 in. above gutter. Remarks: fine road, hard and smooth. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
