Surface: flat, soft, with loose sand 3 in. deep material: sand on gravel base sides: right, grass embankment slopes up to car track, left, grass embankment slopes down 4 in. gutters: right, none, left, 4 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: Road is rather poor. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
