Surface: crowned 3 in., soft, uneven, loose sand and gravel, ruts 3 in. deep material: sand with a little gravel sides: right, slopes down to gutter, then up, left, slopes down to gutter, then up gutters: right, 1 ft. deep, left, 14 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A poor road. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
